Research in this field covers fundamental aspects of semiconductor device physics, device design, device modeling, techniques for the electrical characterization of devices, and process technology for integrated circuit fabrication. Emphasis is on silicon devices and integrated circuits, mixed IC design, high-speed CMOS devices, Radio Frequency and analog bipolar IC, RF front-end optimization, optical waveguides, controlled source representation of substrate thermal coupling for circuit simulation applications, quantization and substrate dimensioning methods for efficient numerical thermal simulation and modeling issues in phase noise simulation.
